Shuttle or Odyssey
Discussion
We had a Honda CRV for a couple of years and it was by far the most reliable vehicle we had ever owned - with just one major drawback... it was too small.
We do lots of chilli shows around the country and finally traded in the Honda and went for a Peugeot 806. (We run a couple of 405 estates which are brilliant)
All i can say is what a complete dog it is. We have done 5 events and it has so far broken down 3 times. The final straw came this morning when i went to start it and found that all the dials no longer work (revcounter/speedo etc)
So i'm now looking for something else. Ideally i'd like another Honda. The crv/frv are too small but I've been told about a Honda Shuttle or Odyssey.
My questions are...
1) Does anyone know boot/cargo space of Shuttle ?
2) Can you remove all the seats ?
3) I see that it is an automatic only. It doesn't seem to have a gear lever - except on wheel. Is this likely to be a problem?
4) Is the handbrake on the left. The 806 handbrake is on the right which is a pain in the arse.
5) Anything else i should look for?
It would appear the Shuttle/Odyssey are imports only. The Stream looks like the UK model but this looks smaller.
Many thanks
