2001 HONDA 1.7 V-TECH COUPE

Hi I have this car for about 6 years now and its been perfect. I have had the car in store for the last 2 years and have had tghe car mot'd and checked over mechanically before using it. That was last week, some work was undertaken to the front left hand suspension.

The problem I have is I have noticed a noise in first and second gear from I think the area of the front wheel, the noise is most noticeable when pulling away it sounds like metal on metal (unlubricated) when changing into 3/4/5 not noise.

Panicking in case it is a gearbox related... any ideas...

Ive been told the vtec coupe is a rare(ish) car is this true... Im begining to think its time to move this one on ...

Any ideas as to the problem would be great.

It the USA manufactured car not UK
