I post as a PH member, not as a "pretend advert".

I purchased "HON 2A" as it's my name, but now looking to sell and assume it would also appeal to Honda, whether a dealer, or a Honda racing team, or a keen collector. Any ideas how to sell it to that niche market?

(and yes, I know "2" is not a "d", and that many people can't see the point of personalised number plates...)

Thanks!

I have no idea with regards to your question, but that is a cool plate.

I won't ask about the price, I imagine it will be hilarous...

I think thats a good plate. There was PH thread running recently in which the rules might be relaxed re spacing, ie HON2A might be acceptable. If this comes into effect then it might be the case that your plate will be worth more.

However, to answer your question, market the plate on PH, Ebay and use national sellers to sell on your behalf.

H3NDA was up for £3,750 a few years ago but I haven't seen it since. It used to be on an Accord near my house when I was growing up. Wish I'd bought it now.

HON2A isn't perfect but try nsxcb.co.uk and maybe ebay. If you're realistic with the price you might get lucky quickly, but registrations can take ages to sell.

Thank you, I'll try nsxcb.co.uk.

I'm looking for £2500 or so, might be realistic, so will try my luck there.
