S2000 and Cruise Control

I need some help. I went to test drive a 2007 S2000 today, very nice car.

However as I understand it cruise control was not fitted to any UK cars, although it does appear it was an option in some other countries.

Has anyone had it fitted to a UK car and if so was it using Honda parts?

Not that I'm aware of, it was offered as an option on US cars. I've seen people discuss it, but unaware of anyone who's carried out a retrofit, instead opting for aftermarket. I'd imagine either due to astronomical Honda prices for the parts or compatibility reasons.

It may be worth asking how the system works on S2ki.com, it's US based so may be able to suss out how hard to fit. Is you car a DBW model? Keep that in mind.
