s2000 engine supplier - recommendations?

hi all - recently got myself a MY2000 S2000 needing a replacement engine. Lots around in various scrappys with prices ranging from £500 to £3000!. Anyone able to recommend a good supplier? Realise it is always a lottery as no scrappy will know how the car was treated previously. Hoping this forum will prove to be as useful as the Pistonheads TVR S3 forum was during my time 'on the dark side'!

I too recently traded to a S2000 from a TVR S3, get yourself onto S2Ki.com as there are plenty of people on there breaking their cars at present so you should be ok.

went for one from Douglas Valley breakers - will let you know how it works out.. As an aside - they have lots of motor parts from some very sad (crashed) looking nice motors - TVRs, Ferraris etc etc.
