DC5 emissions fail

Just done a check on my emissions as the dreaded MOT test is due this month. It's failed massively on co and co2 readings. Any ideas what it might be? O2 sensor or the actual cat itself is screwed? Not had the EML come on so not sure if it could be the sensor or not. Ging to try it with a code reader tonight and see if anything comes up. Quick help is greatly appreciated.

Just noticed they'd tested it as a DC2 which won't help! Need to take it in Monday I think and get them to put the right details in. Have a feeling it's still going to be high though.

If your not already joined up to the owners forum, then that is definetly worth a try. There are some very knowledgeable people on there who should be able to give you some suggestions as to what could be causing it.
