honda jazz fuel gauge issues

hi,

I have a 2009 honda jazz 1.4 ES. The fuel gauge say empty but has 8 litres of fuel in. Trip computer said 38 miles left at this stage ?

When the trip computer says 0 miles, you will still have enough fuel left to cover between 30 - 50 miles depending.
