Alright gentlemen ( and ladies possibly )
I have a 2005 civic type R and noticed lastnight only half of my speedo is now illuminated.

So I got my google on and found that it can be fairly common.

However. I don't know how to
A - remove the dashboard to get to the back of the speedo to change the bulb.
Or
B- if changing the bulb is the answer (I believe it is) as all the other interior lights are still illuminated so it's unlikely to be a fuse.

Can someone help and let me know how easy it is to remove the dashboard and get to the speedo.

Cheers chaps.
(ps I did search for this and couldn't find a topic)

Thanks for digging that up - it will happen to all of us sooner or later so it's always good to know these things!

I might do this myself some time to brighten my dash up. None of mine have blown but £10 and 20 minutes, it's worth doing at some point.
