Hi Lads.... I have a CTR (2005) and yesterday i noticed the Headlights dont work .! side lights, full beam, flash headlights, all work fine..its only the headlights themselves anybody know if their is a fuse for just the headlights i can check first, if not i was thinking maybe it could be the LH column switch itself if so is this an easy part to replace ....or any other things you might know i can check...!.....many thanks for any help you can give me....smile

thanks for replying Neville although i havent tested both bulbs yet although this would be the obvious choice, the problem is both headlights both stopped working together switching them on was fine oneday and the next day they just didnt work anymore, so i thought the chances of both bulbs popping together was quite a slim chance unless some other powersurge fault caused them to blow....i will try a new bulb later to see if this indeed the problem......!

there are separate fuses for each side so will be odd if both them have blown, but if they have you have a problem somewhere. will be suprised if its the switch

I would also check the bulbs. I went through about 5 H1 bulbs in Jan-Feb 2011 last year just because of blooming potholes.

Both bulbs have done the same amount of work! Have come across this before, check bulbs first.

Agreed. Last November on an early foggy morning both my front headlight bulbs decided to expire at the same time!
