S2000 / VTEC Modifications

Hi All,
Well, insurance time has come around and quotes are looking good so this is when I start to think about making a cracking car either a little better (or ruining it depending on your view). I thought about modifying the airbox last year, but I would want to declare everything as I would hate to have to answer for not doing so (as well as it voiding my insurance and being illegal of course)
I realise the only big power increase would be FI, but others here have short and long arm intakes as well as exhaust and other mods that sound great as far as I can tell.
Can anyone shed any light on how they affect their car (throttle response, sound and power tend to be the main affects) and the affect the modifications had on insurance premiums? I'd be looking to actually sort something out once summer starts so it would be making changes to an existing policy.
I did a search and while there is info dotted about through various posts there doesn't appear to be a thread.
All other V-TEC models welcome too!

A few weeks ago I fitted a K&N FIPK kit and I truly love it so far, well worth the money :-)
I'm not really into induction kits normally, but the air box cover off sounded awesome on my s2k. Too bad the throttle reponse suffers and you lose a few bhp through the rev range due to heat soak (as proven on the dyno by several people!) and it sounds like a vacuum cleaner on idle.
The FIPK kit gains a few bhp at certain points in the rev range, but nothing dramatic. Wat it does do is sound awesome (better than just the cover off), improves throttle response and it doesn't bog down anymore at low revs (with the standard airbox it sometimes does that, apparantly a typical s2k feature).
The AEM V2 is supposed to be slightly better, but you'll have the risk of sucking up water as it's mounted so low down.
