Hey folks,
I've been out of the Honda world for a while, but have a query.
My mum's CRV (late 90s I think) has blown its rad. She's been quoted 200 or so quid from her local garage, and almost 300 quid from Honda to get it sorted. Radweld isn't really an option as this is her only vehicle, she lives in the sticks, and is a pensioner. She needs this car to last longer than she does (to be blunt).
She's asked me if that's appropriate, given that FastRads, CarParts, Advanced Radiators etc are quoting 90 quid for the rad itself.
I'm assuming that the garage & honda quotes include fitting, bleeding etc, but she hasn't replied to mail in that regard.
Thoughts?
