Anyone had this done? had to top up the fluid the other day ( only the second time in 12 years) but does this show i have a leak or is it evaporation over that period of time.
Occasionally i have trouble engaging 1st gear and the gear changes are starting to feel " notchy" but only in the tiniest of ways. Car is 102k miles now and still on original clutch.
Anyone know slave cylinder replacement cost?

Cheers

We lost the slave cylinder on our S2k (85k miles) a couple of months ago.Wife called from work to say the pedal went to the floor.
It came back up with a pump of the pedal nd she drove home.Topped the low fluid up. When it fails, it leaks into the rubber dust boot, so doesn't always leave a tell tale on the floor. There are non genuine ones on fleabay for about £50 ish, we went to the main stealer for £115, which seemed reasonable for next morning delivery and some comeback.I borrowed a friend's 4 post lift, and it really was <15 mins to fit.

Good luck.
