Honda Ballade??

[TL1000R]

Ive just been gifted a 1987 Honda Ballade 1.5 EX and know nothing about it. Can someone give me a clue? It think it's just a Civic of the same year with a boot but could be wrong. It also looks very much like an early Rover 200 and I know the two firms worked together in the late 80's early 90's.

Any help would be great.

Wasn't the Ballade exactly the same as a Triumph Acclaim ?
