accord type r tick over problem

went and started my type r the other day after its been in the garage for last 14 months. as thinking of putting it back on the road. now its not ticking over properly was fine when i put it away. i have started it a few time over the 14 months.

any ideas what the problem might be? its revs fine and sounds great just keeps jumping from 1000rpm to 2000rpm at tick over. cant really drive it as it have no mot. but cant mot it till it ticks over properly. im thinking it might just need a good run or maybe the idle control valve but im not to sure where it is on a accord type r 2000 model.

any advice would be good as i feeling the need to get type r vtec back in my life

Pretty sure it will be the IACV. Should be on top of the throttle body (dont quote me, not looked at a H22 in ages) give it a clean and it will be fine.

What colour is your ATR? Almost just bought a nighthawk black one.
