New engine in an S2000

Narrowing down cars in my hunt for an S2000. I found this on Autotrader/Pistonheads:

It had a new engine, fitted by Honda main dealer, in Feb this year. So, is still under a one year warranty. Is this is a positive thing or something to be wary of?

Probably positive if you can confirm the engine has a true one year Honda warranty. Check service history (+history) anyway, clutch and roof work are plus points too. Try and find out why the original engine was replaced (low on oil failure??)

It might be a known car on S2k, so you'll probably see the history of it.

I considered that one myself

had it been a little nearer to me I would gone to view

I went 3.5 hours to view one, that was a bit closer, bought it

New engine would be a plus for me, looks the part as well
