Hi what is the diffrence between the type R, and the Type R GT please.........

Sat nav, Cruise and A/C was what i was told by the dealer.

Anyone know if the late models, the ones fitted with Xenons, Aux/USB come with a LSD? The sales woman seemed to think this was the case.

The last of the line FN2s come with a LSD from what I've read.

Not sure if there's any specific way of telling. I know each Type R has a model number, so it might be possible to tell from this.

Get a GT model


any 2010 made type r had a LSD as standard,

A/C also gives you a cooler in the glove box. Not all GT's have sat nav, this was an extra.

2010 reg, or MY10 ?

Just wondering as the girl in the showroom said the "last of the line" Type R's come with Xenons, USB & LSD... I've seen a lot of 59 GT's with the Xenon and USB fitted, therefor i presume they should have LSD's?

I'm going to look at 2 July 2009 registed GT's tomorrow which have Xenons & USB, so hopefully they may have the LSD if they are an early registered MY10

Yeah the Champ White ones came with LSD, Xenons & USB which then became standard on "end of the line" models. Similar to what they did with the premier edition EP3's

The car had to be made in 2010, 09 made but reg'ed in 10 didn't get the lsd.

If i can remeber right it was april 2010 it was built into the car as standard.

I have the champ white, just go get one of them. Looks amazing with the GP pack added on

Civic Type R GT (Champ white, mugen 200 and mugen 20) Comes with Xenons and USB, you get a few more mugen bits with the mugen cars.

Or what you can do it get a 59 plate gt and then go to TDI North in Warrington and have a WaveTrac Slip Diff for £675

Excuse my ignorance, do I need to lower or change the suspension at all? Or am I right in thinking this is just a camber type adjustment?

just a camber bolt,

you need to change the camber bolts as the honda camber is awful. my tyres where wearing on the outside but not on the inside.

just changed my front 2 tyres from orginal, 12,500 done on them, 1.6mm on the outside, 5mm on the inside. get its sorted so you get a nice even wear.

I usually get my alignment etc done at Hypertech round the corner from Pro Grip.

I'll speak to both and see what they both recommend then.
