Evening all.

A good friend of mine has an EG with a tuned DC5 engine/box etc with various other upgrades he uses for track days.

He currently runs alloy bells and rotors 310mm with spaced calipers. They are ok for a few laps but he is finding he is destroying a set of pads every 150 track miles and a set of rotors every 250-300. There is no fade they just all get too hot and warp the rotor.

So the question is what to upgrade to? We are looking for an alloy 4 pot set up. From the research we have done DC5 uprights, hubs etc won't fit.

Any suggestions?

He is also going to use 5 stud 17" wheels with slicks and think we can fit the EP3/DC5 hub into the existing setup.

Is that just spaced out stock calipers?

What brand pads/discs?

What rear brake setup?

Wait, what?

How will that help? Surely improving cooling should be top of your agenda
