EP3 OS Sidelight bulb replacement ....!

Hi Guys......I need to replace my civic type r (2005) EP3 front OS sidelight bulb from what i can see its pretty awkward to get to any tips on how to get access to the bulb and replace it......before i pull my hair out...!.. ..many thanx lads....

Turn front wheels inwards and go up under the wheelarch, helps if you have small hands.

under the wheel arch wonder why they just couldnt make the front headlamp glass removable....thanx for ya help...

Nah its dead easy once you do it, next time it will take minutes ! Changed both mine last night as i had an LED flickering, replaced both sides in around 5 mins

ok Martin thanx for the info....i,m assuming u have to remove the inner arch cover to get access to the bulb...! and also do they do White light bulbs similar to an xenon light.....if so do u know which type of bulb this is called......many thanx....

Ah yeah sorry !

Details should be in the manual i think, turn the wheel to get better access to the wheel arch, take the 2 clips out nearest the front of the car, a little flat head screwdriver will do or your fingers, then just pull back the lining doesnt matter too much, its bendy !

From there just stick your head in and have a feel around then its just a quick 45 deg turn i think and the bulb fitment thing will allow you to slide it back and pull it down to the wheel arch so you can change the bulbs.

i use these bulbs as sidelights in my ep3

they are a doddle to fit just take off the clip at the very top of the wheelarch and then bend the arch liner back, you should be able to get your hand in there to twist the sidelight bulb holder out.
