I'm currently strongly considering the new FL5. I have a DC2 integra which ive had for 14 years and also own a Lexus ISF amongst some smaller cars.
Im toying with the idea off selling the ISF and DC2 for FL5. Anyone around the northwest / yorkshire area will for me to have a poke around there FL5?
Perfect 2 car garage!

Some dealers are taking the Micky on these now. Fish brothers looks to be the worst.

RE: the Milltek exhaust, I can't explain in words how much better it sounds (although the bar was admittedly set low in the first place with an almost silent car from the outside).....

Does it drone much on the motorway? I use my as an occasional daily so I don’t mind the subdued nature of the standard exhaust, although I would like it to be a little more fruity when I take it for a blast/road trip/track day.

I need to test it more extensively at different speeds in that setting but, so far, I haven’t encountered any boom/drone on dual carriageways / motorways including in 6th. It seems pretty civilised and I have the “loudest” non-res version.

I think overs are over and many yet to realise it.

Very niche car at this money. I still want one though!

If anyone wants a set of OE FK2 wheels with those Conti SC7 tyres I have some on the bay but would rather they go to someone on here.

Black ones seem to be the cheapest at £49990. I’d pay list for a white but maybe a couple of months to wait yet. 23 on Trader now.

That is a lot considering that there are very few options ... and the overs are small.

Question ... is the normal road tax payable on a pre-registered car or is a portion of the first registration fee also to be paid ?

I think the initial tax has been paid, so you would need to just pay a normal annual road tax fee once purchased.

Are any of these cars coming through with the option packs, such as carbon, or are they all "base" cars?

They're all standard cars, the option packs are ordered and fitted by the dealers - I ordered the Carbon pack , when I got the car end of January it had the centre console carbon fitted , but was waiting for the wing and the door sills, they're Honda connect parts made in Italy , the wing arrived a couple of months later and still waiting for the door sills! I will have to chase them again

There are some delivery mile examples virtually at RRP now. My friend at Honda said it had gone quiet RE the 3rd allocation, but recognised Honda are good at springing things on them.

Laughing at the chancers who tried sticking >10% and flipping them, lots of dealers have joined in and there’s now a surplus so prices have come down. I just think it’s a shame when theirs a long list of genuine enthusiasts out there who’ve missed out.

It's priced too high for the UK market, in absolute term and comparing to other countries, even though they try to create a sense of scarcity. GRY was such a success partly because of low interest environment, 0%/low APR offered by Toyota so people are willing to hold onto them. Now is a different macro story.

Again there are brilliant used cars at 30k not to mention a round of GR86 incoming no matter how different it is from the CTR.
