NHRA 2008 TF & FC - up we go with the %
Discussion
It seems that the comments from team owners and crew chiefs have been taken on board. Back to 90% nitro as of next season. Good news I'd say

we european probably won't get the lift until 2009 cos we are a year behind on NHRA
Europe never went down to 85% when NHRA did, the FIA rules stayed at 90%. This doesn't mean that European teams have been running 90% though. Lex has stated in public before now that he runs the NHRA percentage because he wants to run out there (and in fact will be doing so as well as Urs at the last two NHRA races this year).Eurodragster.com said:

Will this mean that fewer cars will be "fogging out" the shutdown area as they slow down? Both John Force and The Sarge spring to mind as this seems to happen to them after every single pass.
Depends if they decide to stick with 85% now they have a good tune and a big budget.I know the Force clan tried to block the 90% move and even tested the 80% route at the end of last year with fear of another change.
What causes the smoke anyway? Is it a case of running the suckers lean as hell?
