They steal Haribo off all the children while they are watching the racing and take it to a secret rendering plant hidden under the barn. Here it is distilled to produce the finest trackbyte ever, so good it is exported all over the world.

This is why the barn hasn't been demolished yet.

True Story.

I brought someone for the very first time on the Saturday of the Euro Finals. Between the nitro/methanol/trackbyte/jet fuel/burn out smoke smells they now understand why i'm hooked on drag racing.

If it's the person you brought up to Race Control then they should be glad that they weren't around to smell when one of the colour commentators and two PH forum members were in the building biggrin

When one of your sponsors is a Rushden-based supplier of dishes from the Indian sub-continent it kind of goes with the territory. I don't know what excuse the other two use though biggrin

I would now ask the mods to lock this thread before we put anyone off their lunch.

I've had a word with the chaps at our sponsor VP Racing Fuels. I asked them what they use to make traction compound smell like raspberries and the response was "Raspberries!". But they added that traction compound is scented so that chemists cannot tell its make up, as all ingredients are proprietary and thus confidential.
