We last went there a couple of years back 2005 IIRC, it was the third time i have been there but it had gone downhill a fair bit since the previous visits

That whole area of Orlando had gone downhill i guess more tourists are staying closer to the parks and south of the parks , development in those areas has been very heavy in recent years

Still a shame though

I moved here in 1991 and since then it's a different City, even the locals are pissed as more and more the whole area loses that small town feel. We get lots of poeple move down from the North, then they can not take the high temp's and after six month there gone.

I can imagine !!

We drove from Orlando to Gainsville for the Prostar World finals 2002/03 and the amount of building was staggering!!

All along the highways they were tearing out the orange groves and building holiday/retirement complexes
