Depending on how delicate your suspension is you could try an A-frame.
If you're concerned about how this would hammer your race set-up during travel to and from the track a quick visit to the breakers will get you an OEM set of shocks, springs and wheels/tyres to use in lieu of your race parts.
You'll just need to allow a little extra time for swapping parts at the track.

Yeah just sen them on ebay and I think I could use one. If you bought a car trailor you could ask some farms near where we live that store caravans. They might charge you up to £120 per year tho !! Its just an option if you are stuck.. As you know i never got down to see you before you went away, Ill call down when you get back.. Will it be a week on tuesday when your due home ?

Its only a mk 3 polo so a small car. I could drive it there but im sure I will break it one day so just thinking ahead for getting it home.Do you know how much it is to hire a trailer for a day ?
locally a car trailer is £40 a day, if you buy one you would pay £500 (ish)
storage isnt easy, as you say, a goods yard, a haulage company even a barracks may help, offer a sign/advert on the car as payment!
i asked because a rail/dragster could possibly go inside the largest Iveco daily van, they have a 4.5mtr load length (16 feet?) and are wide as well, getting in and out is your problem though...width between internal wheel arches about 54 inches

Why dont you buy a tow pole from machine mart mart lol, For about £30ish take it with you and if you break down get one of your mates to tow you home or at least 10 or so miles away then phone recovery if you dont want to be towed all the way home..
If you are at york with us lot one of us will tow you a distance away or help as much as we can..

Our rail has a 23ft wheel base (if I remember correctly) and is one of the shorter rails that you will find...storage isnt easy, as you say, a goods yard, a haulage company even a barracks may help, offer a sign/advert on the car as payment!

LOL get a legend...theyre short enough...altho if your any bigger than me...ie a midget you wouldnt fit in one..on a serious note though, these are the reasons i chose a legend...ive got a garage that will just fit it in, so a yank motor is out of the question, the drive is really steep so anything with less than 4 inch ground clearance wouldnt get in and my parents land rover wont tow more than 1.7 tonne including the trailer. i was looking at getting a yank motor before i realised it wouldnt fit in the garage and towing it to the track on one of those 2 wheeled things the AA use.
