At long last the history of British drag racing is being documented and will be published by Haynes Publishing in September 2008 under the title Crazy Horses – British Drag Racing’s Heritage. The author is Brian Taylor who was track announcer at Santa Pod Raceway and Chairman of the British Drag Racing & Hot Rod Association during the 1970s. He is now a recognised and published writer on motor industry topics. The Foreword of the book will be written by none other than DON GARLITSbowand the book will be available all over the world.

Anyone who has any photos or stories to tell about the exciting and sometimes quite dramatic history of the sport is asked to contact Brian on crazyhorses@petrolhead.vianw.co.uk.

When you stop presenting stuff culled from other web sites as news, and when you phone and ask Brian how many people he's been in contact with from our original news items over the last several months, then maybe I'll think about it
