Hi guys,

i was just wondering if anyone new why fuel rails and fuel cars sound so different. (well they do to me) is it because they are differnet motors. I always thought they were relativly the same. Is it because they have differnet fuel systems or is it because the chassis' are different sizes or something?

l asked my US drag racing friends & this is the reply l received:
l guess for several reasons, the longer header pipes, the enclosed engine (fc body)everything that l see they are basically the same motor, fuel system etc. Also the same cubic inch displacement.

Sorry newb here question here, I thought the FIA rules were 90% nitromethane and the NHRA was 85%?
Has this changed or have I got it wrong?

That nitro crackle is awesome.
