Congrats - the new forum is much needed....

Having said that, a word (or two) of caution...

Too many past forums have been terminated due to members posting comments that are only based on rumours or opinions and we all know that some of them have been libellious and actionable.....please let us all not go down that route again. As my old granny used to say "if you can't say something nice about someone - say nowt". Remember that a tongue is in a wet place and liable to slip !

I also do not understand the need for pseudonyms as it has been a contributing factor to the close of past forums. Why not use real names that are attributable and where members are forced to stand by and justify what they have stated ?

OK.. rant over, but I do it more as I get older and crabbier...

On a happier note, we in the NFAA hope to have 9 teams on the track for this weekends' NSRA Hot Rod Drags and hope to set some new PB's (if we can reconfigure the fuel system)..

For those that do not know it, our site is www.nfaa.info - we try to keep it current and up to date - real jobs permitting.

Hey Lawrie,

Great to see other's in the NFAA joining up, especially the ring leader so to speak!

I'm really looking forward to the Hot Rod Drags, only my 3rd NSRA event, enjoyed the first two! Awesome stuff.

All the best

Looking forward to the weekend, should be another great showing from the NFAA, hopefully see Jim and Tony back in the 6s, and John's first 6 in Lawrie's Chaos and plenty more PBs all round

I personally see no problem using a 'nickname' or whatever as username but people should definately have their fullname in the profile, then they can be help accountable for what is said, that said there should be no need for anything like that to come about - its just a place to talk drag racing

Tis good indeed to see a new forum for drag racing types in the UK to use, and I agree with Lawrie about being careful what is posted - though the rules I just agreed to should help prevent that kind of thing.

you certainly have made me happy, I really missed being able to read and write on the Dragsterworld Forum and being intouch with the british drag scene.

Thanks for this Forum

I hope this forum is a great success as i have missed having a drag racing forum BUT as Lawrie says lets not let it suffer from the same problems as other forums.
