New car for next year built by the man himself ROY WILDING
Staying with Big Block Buick cos its different going to see if we can eventually get it into the high sevens in the next couple of seasons with the help of American company TA Performance engine will remain 430cui for next season with stage 2 track heads high compression pistons and roller rockers. we had mid 10's on a bog stock engine last season so i would hope to see mid 9's at least next year.

You won't believe me how many times I hear someone calling me a nutter when people find out I drive one of them. It's good fun though! bowtie

I can imagine. However, they look stunning and I imagine the rush from driving one is amazing. I think it was the Easter Thunderball when they had about 6 down at the Pod for exhibition runs. I don't think any of them did a full pass from what I can remember.

I imagine that setting the steering must be a nightmare. Almost all the ones I saw lurched to one side on launch. Is that why your altered is brown? hehe

altereds aren't meant to go straight, thats the nature of the beast - its a real drivers car not something that is 99.9% sure to go straight and true every pass

the numbers from them might not compare to fuel dragsters etc but they're a hell of a lot more fun to watch, a fuel car looks stunning on a full tilt mid to high 4 second pass but otherwise its nothing, smoke, shake shutoff and the majority of the time thats the case - a fuel altered running an 8 on and off the throttle all over the track is way more exciting, and you haven't lived until you've experianced dry hops from a fuel altered

In terms of racing and spectating - Not as such, a bit of crewing here and there, next year should hopefully be doing some driving though.
