great to see you guys ( and i bet a few gals) have a forum here.. with the sort of performance that would make a 'supercar' owner cack their pants.. a trip to Santa pod is on my list of things I must do.. do you have any meetings coming up, or anywhere else?

Nissan Micra 1.0

I did it consistently for three runs around the 21 bracket (maybe a career in bracket racing beckons?).

If it's dry at the November meet I'm going to see what the Fiesta does.

Ta for that - will try to get to Shakespear this weekend as i'm based malvern way.. look foward to it.. and thanks for the website links.. I was at the Shelsley Walsh Hill climb last weekend, and there was a group of custom rods visiting, and a guy some of you will no doubt know looking at the hill to judge whether it would be possible to run some rods up the 1000yd run - the main problem seemed to be concern over the run off area at the top of the hill - chutes probably coulnt be deployed.. also the surface up the hill would require some well judged dampers.. would be spectacular if it could be done.

10.7 @ 142 mph on a virtually standard street motorcycle.

Getting into the 12s on a bike with under 250cc was in some ways more impressive though.
12.96 @ 106 mph.

Preparing my daily driver Scirocco for the Sportsman class at VWDRC events. Best RWYB do far with no mods was 18.805/70.65. Hope to debut at Easter Thunderball 2007.

12.06 @ 106mph in the 'B'Sting Topolino back in 2002, she runs a darn sight quicker nowadays though. Nice forum, like Lawrie said in another thread, I hope it stays this way, quite a few familiar names in here already.

Nowhere near fast enough, but once MotorPsycho has ironed out the bugs I should get a decent ET!

I think it was in the 20's at around 50mph, but that was barely coasting never mind idling.
