Fastest ladies always drive Mopars lol
Discussion
Kirsten is a very nice lady indeed...
When I come back in my next life I'm gonna ask her to marry me and let me drive her Mopar tooo?
What's the chances of even doing ONE of those things...
She signed my 'cap' with a very nice 'xxx', she must have known about my GTX?
Might have to change my avatar name to Gt'XXX'Jon...
I hope her husband doesn't reads pistonheads???OOPS...

My mistake Guys and ladies!
I don’t follow top fuel as I’m a doorslammer kinda dude...
I have seen some fine top fuel runs at the Pod over the years and in the US of A.
It was not my intention to ‘miss’ out any ladies, only to honour them!
We all grew up with the stories of Cha Cha Muldowney.
I’ve seen her cars in shops and museums in the USA and was totally blown away!
For the likes of me I have no understanding of sub TEN second drag cars...
They are for the rich and famous 1/4 milers all over the globe.
For me just being on the track is a pleasure and an honour!

On a different note, folks talk about the 3.58 second run of Vanishing point( July 84).
By some fluke I was there with my Mopar mates in the ‘shed’...
Big mistake as the force of the ‘Rocket’ engine ‘peppered’ us all with grit!
So l can say l was there, did l get to see it, not really with a rocket, in my eye lol...

I was there also, my first time at the Pod truly amazing, and not wanting to sound pedantic but Vanishing Point was Rocket powered By some fluke I was there with my Mopar mates in the ‘shed’...

My mistake lol.
Rocket engine/motor etc.
I was there in 82 when Slammin Sammy blew out the windows too, with his non Jet engine...
40 years ago and seems like it was last year!
You have to make allowances for old peeps like me who have sniffed to much nitro...
