Hockenheim opening of the quarter mile 1989, on my "D´axterminiator"
MINI rear tire, Monkey 8" front wheel, Powroll-assisted 178cc from S90 / C90 / CT90 parts.
Too slow, so swapped throttle grip to microphone, but I dreamt it, built it, and ran it.
Chief Starter Erich still doing his job, well maybe next year.

Yep all comp bike . I started in 1992 with a bike built with the help of a mate who was stepping up to Funny Bike. Took a few years out and sold the bike and started helping out in funny bike and then got involved with Dave Beck in pro stock bike and became interested in high compression motors .
So built a road bike with a 1327 motor which became progressely sillier and sillier so decided to pick up another chassis and go back to racing.
As for nitrous that was always going to be the plan folowing playing with it on the funny bike, had it on a few cars since now
This old junk is leagues away from what they are doing nowadays though

Which one did you like best? the turbo or the normal aspirated bike.So built a road bike with a 1327 motor which became progressely sillier and sillier so decided to pick up another chassis and go back to racing.

Ran that for a few meets but was leaving the forces and moving and just didn't have time to give it the focus it deserved.
So sold that bike , crewed for a few years , did my bike test and ended up building another bike without a turbo.
So to answer your questions I think the blue bike ran a 9.4 or 9.5 at around 130 but was hard to ride , the last bike ran a few mid 8's at 160 but it was a 7 second engine in a 9 second chassis and was all over the place.
As for fun a turbo bike is awesome the way they load up and haul is great can't imagine what these 800-900 bikes are like , the nitrous bike made 300hp ish the turbo bike made 150hp on a good day.
I got greater satisfaction with the n/a bike as that was more of my own work , the turbo bike was a lot of cast offs from my mate and a huge amount of support from him

The blue one was back in 1992 and I was very much a rookie, had not even passed my bike test . Was in the forces at the time and was posted abroad after my first season so managed very little with it and wheelies were a big issue so when I got back to UK I fitted the engine into a proper drag chassis with wheelie bars.
