Nice edit Pete (I did see your earlier mistake eek which was a surprise considering you had the correct spelling in the heading and previous sentence) - now how about putting a capital B for Brits? laugh

To answer your question, I think the answer is yes (but they were ex-pats) although other Europeans have. I do not believe any resident Brits other than Grumpy have won a Wally.

I seem to remember Tony Merry had a "wally" at home that had been awarded to him by the NDRC? and again from a rather patchy recall, the NDRC had approached the NHRA to use this trophy. so the question is has anyone else got one over here awarded the NDRC? maybe Jerry (muddy) could throw some light on this

Lesson there - one that a lot of people could learn from... That is not to post when tired or inebriated or both!

Has Tony Morris even won a Wally?

How about Al O'Connor on his Stateside tour?

When not racing the dragster Tony enjoys teasing drivers of BB Chevys in bracket races in this Wolesley Hornet, Americans don't seem to get their head round chasing down a tiny little tearaway !!
