Photos of 2 track situations needed
Discussion
Hi DragHeads,
I am looking for 2 Pictures that are actually quite rare, it seems.
Not of a Special car or Driver, but of exemplaric situations, that I can use for an article.
First : dusky Setting, car leaves line, reaches end of 1st,
shift light comes on and interior/helmet/face of driver are lit yellow/reddish, from the front please.
Second : index class, car has visible brake lights on just before finish line,
maybe even some tyre smoke visible.
I have searched my own pix, found nowt, slapped myself because the 1st situation must have happened
right before my lens , for capturing the second situation my lenses aren´t long enough.
I know that there are some "Ace Lensmen" on here like Julian, Dom, Richard, Tog (sometimes),
or maybe one of you trackside dragnuts could help me out (credit in german print mag assured) ?

I have a shift light picture, but its of a bike at night. I cant find my correct memory stick at the moment but you can see it here http://www.eurodragpics.com/galleries/2010/nationa... and look for picture 78 of Paul Wing (hover the mouse cursor over to get the name). If this is of use to you let me know and I will search out the memory stick when I get in from work later.
Hello Chris,
thanks for the quick Response, but it must be 4wheeled as it is an article for a car mag.
When commentating the Hockenheim night Show I often saw shift lights illuminating cars´interiors,
sometimes for more than half a second because the Driver was not reacting very quickly,
I hope someone has a pic of a situation like that.

(I will have a go at the F&T next week, as, I am sure, will the others :-) )
