Sad sad news on Eurodragster today regarding Graham.
He was one of the first guys I ever met and talked to at length when I was getting started as a trackside photographer.
Always had the time to laugh and pass the day and in latter years alongside Martin Geldermann, they really were cut from the same cloth and just about shared the same silhouette wink
Also, in 2002 when Micke Kagerad crashed next to me it was Graham who was at the top end taking photos who was the first one over to me to make sure I was ok.
The sport is definitely a lesser place for him not being around.
My thoughts to all his family and friends, godspeed.

Its been a long time since I spoke with Graham but we did speak to him more towards when the Santa Pod guide to Drag Racing came out. I'd just found the sport that I love and as a 13 year old lad I was completely obsessed with the sport (nothing changes PMSL). I bought the book and took it around getting it autographed by each driver who's photo was featured. The book was that well used that it eventually came apart so I no longer have it, but I remember getting it signed by Tony Baker, Jens Nybo and Lex Joon like it was yesterday. I recall that Jens really liked the book and I think he was going to take a few back with him after the meeting. A few years later I met Graham and I expressed my thanks for the book that forged many great memories for me, and we sat talking drag racing and sharing a beer or two if memory serves. I didnt know him well but he was a nice guy and the Drag Racing family will miss his presence.

Very sorry to hear the news about Graham's passing. I never really knew him as a photographer but we'd discussed quite a few ideas around noise testing in drag racing in the past and he was a fountain of knowledge in the field. Even at midnight at a lifestyle event you'd see him wandering between drunken revellers with his decibel meter making sure the locals would be happy.

I am sad to read about Graham getting to the finish line and beyond,

got a message from Martin Grosse-Geldermann a few days ago.

I was introduced to Graham by Martin a few years ago and spent some time with them

in their slightly mouldy Caravan or on the Banking with Graham when he was taking photos

and giving me some tips about panning shots.

I was missing him at the finals, not sharing some banter and listening to his brilliantly sarcastic comments.

Top Tip from the acoustics engineer : Put two strips of fender tape inside your Peltors,

when trackside they reduce the resonance of Top Fuel engines in the plastic casing.

RIP Graham.
