Can anyone remember if DFDS offer discounted ferry crossings for drag racers in the same way that Alamo offer discounted car hire? I've heard the ads on Nitro FM countless times, but haven't paid enough attention to them to know if there's a discount or not.

DFDS in my memory seem to have been mentioned at the Pod for years,but like you, I don't take in the details.

Tet, some years back I negotiated a sponsorship deal with DFDS for tmfc racer Doug Ripley, the basic deal was to get his Rig /crew and a pick up/ caravan over to Sweden and back f.o.c thus enabling to attend some of the FIA events,however Doug was a messer and let the deal go,but I managed to get it passed on to Danny Cockeril,who did use their wonderful sponsorship offer.
If you are looking for travel to race in TMD next year ,I may be able to point you in the right direction,Andrew

Yes they do still do a deal for Racers, email the guys at pod for the contact you need.

We used it for some German racers that came over in the the summer
