Also there are safety aspects to be considered - blowing up an engine in the last qualifying session when already qualified is not necessary especially at the first championship round which would mean that the crew could have been asked to work on the car all night; a tired crew is not a safe crew.

Understood, it obviously panned out badly - bit biased as Risto is a favorite but still harsh.
