Today we finally did it and broke the UK FWD Record with a 9.322 @ 165.45 into a 20mph head wind.

Everyone seemed to be setting good times but me! I ended up giving up and going home after the ridiculous time it was taking in a fairly empty fire up road!

I had loads of issues with boost pipes, but the full runs I managed were quick ones, 9.43@164 on the 1st run then 9.32@165 on about the 4th run (runs 2-3 boost pipe issues)

Amazing maybe but seems completely pointless trying to make a fwd car cope with that much bhp just to set a 1/4 mile time how much did it cost to set a sub 10 second time?

If doing something nobody else has done is in your view pointless. What's the point if doing anything.

Don't really agree with that, the thing that makes drag racing is its diversity! Yes fwd and euro/jap stuff isn't everyone's cup of tea however we should support those who try to make it work, it's very impressive and great to see people trying new things

No need Richard, you know it already..tongue out
However, i'm very impressed that you went that fast. It's much harder than people can imagine to make a FWD without wheelie bars go that fast.
Fair play to you fella.. thumbup
