Anybody else going on what looks to be a hot sunny day - like July used to be?

Just got back home from Dragstalgia. Brilliant racing and weather. Better than the previous 2 years. This event is going to be massive in future. Well done to James Forster from santa pod for organizing it. Really feel sorry for Steve Carey after writing off his bike, but glad to see he is ok.

Six nostalgia funnies huh! What a sight. It looks like being the natural home for people of a certain age (except Wendy of course) for whom winning is not so important. Congrats to Doc stinger who has realised his dream of running a Challenger FC at a proper race track. It must've cost him a fortune to get everything over from Voitsberg, Austria.
Great to see Rob Loaring, Draper brothers etc joining the fray.

Superb weekend, some great races, roll on next year.
Great turnout from the off, if it hadn't clashed with Americana 'up the road' I reckon it would have been rammed in that weather.

I enjoyed Sunday, Chaos in particular ran really well.

My only gripe would be the RWYB, necessary at the moment, but would need to be more selective if the event got any bigger.

The website for the nostalgia funny cars has been updated with a brief report from the weekend, and a new feature is a looping background video of all the Sunday runs from the class which can be made full screen by clicking the prompts at the bottom right of the screen. The team pages has also been updated with the new teams, pictures kindly provided by Rene Kerkhof

The site can be found at http://euronostalgiafunnycar.jimdo.com/news/

Hope you enjoy smile
