is just what a young black gentleman, passenger in the standard awful coloured Corsa, has just shouted at me whilst I was gently cycling along, on my way to pick up the kids from school.
Funny as his Chav mate driving, found it hard to get away once I started cycling after them. Lost them after a 1/2 mile only as I slowed realising it would be pretty stupid of a dad of nearly 50 to square up to 2 yoofs in a car.
Shouldn't let it get to me but if I had caught up I was gonna throw the bike through their windscreen. I was livid with rage.
What the fek is it with people.

I assume you were riding on the road? I've been doing a fair bit of bike riding over the last few weeks for the first time in a few years and it definitely feels like car drivers have far less patience an common sense when it comes to dealing with cyclists. From leaving hardly any room when overtaking to announcing that we (cyclists) should be on the pavement to the sort of stupid comments you have experienced I also find it hard to ignore these people.
Although the funny guy who shouted out the window " OI mate, your wheels are going around" did make me chuckle because it's been years since I've heard that.

I was on the road and although I commuted a lot last year, I have just stuck to circuits of Richmond Park this year so today was the first time on the streets for a while but I do drive a car lot and ride a motorbike, so I like to think that I'm a pretty good rider.
But as usual today there have been many t
ts that have been far too close on overtakes and this needless situation.
I suspect he's local so he may well have to learn to breath through a Langster frame if I see him and before I get any hipster comments, I was dressed like a builder, black T and combat shorts

te liberal society that we live in) Corsa was a sort of sky blue.I didn't mention in the car pulled out on me thread that the driver who grinned before nearly killing me was also black.
I have had more run ins with these type of drivers than white van drivers, who tend to be white. Must be an ego thing.

I was cycling into our village a few weeks ago when a lovely young "traveller" girl threw something at me as they went past. It hit me on my back and she leant out of the window while sticking 2 fingers up at me and making some yob like sounds!
I wasn't happy at all as I pass their site everyday, am always courteous when passing them on the singles lanes and had even slowed down so they could overtake me easier.
Nowt I can do though and that does my nut in even more!!

Was heading west along Chelsea Embankment onto Cheyne Walk on Sunday, as I went through a green light, with right of way, some scumbag in a car displaying lots of Chelsea flags* was heading east onto Battersea Bridge. I had to haul up to avoid smashing into him and ended up stopped and blocking his way.
Got called a fking c**t for my trouble (he had his kids in the back and what I presume was his mother in the front). The air continued to be turned blue as he made his way over the bridge. F'ing and blinding and going on about red ligts 
.
For a split second I was tempted to go after him and continue the discussion but In the end I wimped out and carried on.
And people wonder why you often see a lot of cyclists taking to the pavement on a lot of sections through London.
