Having recently started riding again after a break of a few years I went up there last week and rode 'Barry Knows Better' a few times on Holmbury.

Start is off Radnor Lane opposite the reservoir, and runs down to Ewhurst Road. A nice intermediate DH with some bomb holes at the top and bermed corners at the bottom.

Also 'Yogurt Pots' which is a series of interlinked bombholes near the top of Holmbury.

But yes most of it is not widely advertised, best bet is to hook up with some other riders as Peaslake is usually very busy with riders at weekends.

Surrey hills is fantastic for single track / XC, not for downhill (assuming you mean trails suitable for dedicated downhill bikes?)

Best bet is probably Pitch Hill I think, head down to the main car park and ask .. will be plenty of bikers around. Will be short runs though ...

As noted above: barry knows best, and yogurt pots on Holsmbury hill are great fun - but less so on a downhill rig I imagine - too pedally.

If you are not on downhill bikes there is plenty to keep you amused. PORC (Penhurst) might also be worth a look?

Surrey is great for XC but as above not for downhill.
You can have some fun at the Devils Punchbowl near Hindhead.
