Some serious hardware in the new line up...

Boardmanbikes.com

No prices on the Elite range yet but these look like instant classics. The EM 1.7 coming in at 8.2kg with an SID World Cup on the front and SRAM XX everywhere must be one of the best mountain bikes on the market.

The new Team Carbon comes in at £1299. I wonder how it will get on away from the previous £1k C2W friendly budget.

Very good i am sure but like all the manufacturers, the spec has dropped dramatically! Much better to buy any remaining 2010 models.

The 2010 Team Carbon is lighter and higher spec, plus £300 cheaper, if you can find one.

I suspect the margins were negligible at the old price so this was inevitable.

the air 9.4 looks very nice, the carbon tubs look very simliar to the planet x wheels so i assume they are the same. tempted with the AiR9.0 if the price is right... pleased to see that a good few bikes have mavic rims now and not the ritchey stuff which was letting the bikes down.

there was a strong rumur the AiRTT was being sold through Dolan and i heard rumours they will look for good independants to stock the AiR range.

I just managed to get a 2010 team carbon for £899.99 on the cycle to work scheme. Can't go wrong at that price. Should cost me just under 500 quid all told under the lease. Thankfully my employer isnt shafting us due to the change in rules and is allowing us to enter into an extended contract for a few years at the end of the lease to ensure we arent caught by HMRC's new valuation matrix.

I was waiting on these as a halfords cycle to work customer.

Some what disappointed with the £1000 bike. Think I'll go for the Caad8 instead. It may have slightly worse wheels but looks a lot better imo.

must admit I'm not particularly concerned about how it looks - for 500 quid all told on the CTW I think its unbeatable value (subject to the usual moans about hellfrauds etc)..
