Evening all,
I know of a few other places which accept the halfords vouchers: on your bike & condor in London.
Are you chaps aware of any other places? I'm looking to spend just over £1k and would like to avoid ordering through halfords if I can go to a 'local' shop.
Happy do drive for a few hours too!
Cheers

Their idea of setting up and safety checking a bike is different to mine, I know this from the last bike I bought from them.
The scheme it's self is good. As I said I am happy to drive, it just so happens that smallish bike shops tend to be termed as 'local bike shops'.
In the past these types of shops appear to actually value their customers more.

I've had mixed experiences in both. My local Halfords offer 1st rate service. Previous bike came from a local bike shop & luckily I gave the bike a once over as the stem bolts were only finger tight.
Surely it only takes 5 minutes to check all important bits are tight enough yourself, wherever it comes from!

Leisure Lakes Bikes take Halfords C2W vouchers. They are based in Notts and 5 or 6 other places:
