no its always been wet when i have been there and i have lost traction... a few peopel have taken alternative routes around the larger obstacles but we didnt think that counted!

Yup. Done it in the relatively damp - it wasn't hosing down. Granny 3rdish, start back before you go between the trees and keep the cadence high. Also lift bum off saddle helps too. Also, I use single ply Maxxpro High Rollers for trail centres. They help a LOT!

Tried it on Friday... and again on Friday, and again, and again... and no. Saw a chappy on a very smart Nicolai make it through though...
