Has anyone got this and use it for cycling? A friend at work has it (using it for running) and it seems quite good. He uses it with a Blackberry, so the gps tracks and records his routes including elevation etc and the geek in me quite liked that.

It appears the standard Adidas hardware doesn't have gps, so I'd have to change my phone to get the best out of it as I would want the routes recorded. Just not sure its worth it??

There are plenty of GPS watches and cycle computers out there that do exactly the same job (see Garmin Edge range). These can be pricey, and it might actually work out cheaper to upgrade your phone.

I have a nokia mobile and downloaded the Sports tracker app (www.sports-tracker.com), which is essentially the same thing and tracks my routes and elevation with GPS. You can also hook up a Polar HRM via bluetooth
