2011 models?

Can anyone give me an estimate as to when manufacturers start releasing 2011 models? I'm fairly sure it used to be around October for the next year's editions, but I've lost track. With this in mind, is it likely that the 2010 models will start being discounted as soon as the 2011 models are announced, or is here some delay as he new stuff is introduced?

Around September/October, and the prices lower around the time they start getting the stock in (I think)
