Carrying on the spirit of thriftyness... Thought I'd point out what seems to be a good value tool box on ebay. Ordered one myself, arrived next day all pristinely wrapped with cable ties and shrink wrap as if never touched.

Identical Kit with a different logo is £40 more on Wiggle and got 9/10 from Cycling Plus Magazine... (ebay guy will take £80 offer).

Don't know about longevity obviously yet but inspecting it, it seems well made and sturdy.

Hope this helps.

Only problem with these boes is that half the stuff you'll rarely use with the more modern kit.

I'd buy top quality stuff as you go. If the cable cutters are cheap, they'll not last long until they start screwing up the cables.

Also, the chain whip looks way too short!
