Rock Shox Judy XC leak
Discussion
All,
I hope some of the PH faithful might be able to offer some advice.
Bought my bike second hand a few years ago. Always serviced the drivetrain etc, but ignored the forks. Bike is generally only used for commuting.
Anyway, having been sat idle for a while, i noticed some drips of oil on the floor under the right hand fork leg. I used the bike the other day but note that the drips are back.
The forks must be about 6 years old (black fork legs) i would have thought.
Evans want £75 to service them, which seems excessive.
So three things;
1) anyone got any ideas what the issue might be?
2) How easy is it to service them myself (reasonable mechanical sense)
3) where will i get spare parts? CRC?
Thanks in advance.
I hope some of the PH faithful might be able to offer some advice.

Sounds about right, £75 for a service. My wife's Rock Shox also developed a leak in the last month and I reckon the seal has gone. I too was a bit shocked at the cost but I'm going to have to get them fixed and put up with the cost. I hope some of the PH faithful might be able to offer some advice.
