Aren't they a bugger to get up hills?

Only issue i'd have is being so low and invisible to cars

blimey, he doesn't half get some speed on that thing. He passes the other cyclists as if he were on a motorbike. I really want a recumbent trike but they are very low and quite expensive. Is it really worth spending £1500+ on a recumbent trike when you can get a decent roadbike for the same money. are they really that much better?! i will be sceptical untill I have a go on one i am sure. 2 wheel recumbents seem a bit rediculous to me though, although I am impressed by the sheer pace of that thing.

Yeah, not looking at anything that low. Something more like this. A guy on another forum has offered to let me try his out.

I already have a beard.



The missus has already said "no, not under any circumstances".

Not really and most drivers slow down and go wide to get a better look!
