Great week for it (suffering slightly)
Discussion
Since asking the question about increasing stamina, I've been making the most of the good weather.
I've upped the daily road run to 16/17 miles, and tonight I put in another good session including 1.5 laps of Richmond Park and some fast road (legs suffering). I'm varying the pace, taking plenty of liquid and aiming to increase to 20 miles for next weeks rides.
I'm wearing an early prototype of the PH cycling top (from last year when Swerni asked) at the moment, and sometimes I really wish it didn't have 'Speed Matters' written on the back as others pass me on bigger hills
Thanks for the advice.

You're doing better than me Paul. Spurred on by you and several others around the office talking about mileage (and the final emergence of the sun), I decided to get out into Richmond Park this morning. I've had a calf injury which has stopped me from running for the past month, and my god I've lost my fitness quickly. I need to get out into the park regularly to get some miles in or I'm not going to make it to Tooting on the London to Brighton, never mind Ditchling...

How come I didn't get a prototype
Glad the trainings going well.
The Evans supportive tomorrow from Chobham is fully book, I've not known that to happen before. Luckily I've already got my slot.
Show be a good warm up for the wiggle 90 miler in the new forest next weekend
Anyone want a join in next weekend?
He should have said "the" prototype. Dread just did one, and it isn't a Foska. Oh, and it wasn't in "excessively long bloke" size either...How come I didn't get a prototype

I did 20 miles yesterday, which included the few miles to richmond park, bashd out two laps then came home.
Its such a s
t surface in there, and is so windy I don't know why I bother.
You were probably one of the many that dropped me on the way round..Its such a s
t surface in there, and is so windy I don't know why I bother.TBH I think Richmond is good for training in because of the wind.

I try to slip stream in there, be it cars or other riders of reasonable pace.
Swerni : stick to your all dayers averaging 13 mph
