Slight rubbing sound
Discussion
I had my trek 6300 upside down giving it a clean and I noticed when spinning the front wheel there is a slight rubbing sound at one point of the wheel, it doesn't really seem to be slowing the wheel down but it's a little bit annooying. What's the cause and if so what's the fix? As said, It's very slight. Thanks in advance.
It does seem to be..I'm not in the least mechanical minded with bikes (or cars for that matter) so i'm not too keen on clipping wheels off etc. Might take it into the bike shop for a little going over. It doesn't seem serious at all just a niggling annoyance. Edited to add it's discs.

Then I'd say it's more likely that the Disc is not true or the caliper isn't working properly, other than that the hub could be screwed but they are pretty sturdy and I wouldn't expect it to rub, just sound like a bag of bolts if it was begining to disintergrate.
I have a 6700 from 2007 and the discs warped and the pistons in calipers didn't fully return after an off, I had the pistons/calipers sorted and stuck on a new set of pads and a disc and all was well.
