Yesterday me and a few mates went exploring round our local area on the bikes looking for some new trails, and we stumbled upon this beauty of a forest. Theres 2 main trails through the forest, but there is another 5-10 leading off each of them. Yesterday we only managed to get through one of the trails and I took a few pics from my phone (hence the dodgy quality) but I thought Id post them up here for the PH massive to have a gander at.

The best thing about this place is that we did not see anyone else for the 2-3 hours we were there. And the only tracks we could see were from quad bikes and tractors. O and its only a 3 minute ride from my house! thumbupcooltongue out

These are the clearest shots I managed to take:

These arent too great:

Unless you live in the middle of London or something, its hardly big news tho is it?

Oh come on, it is quite exciting when YOU (it may be common knowledge to others) find a new trail. There is nothing better for keeping the motivation going than a bit of local exploration.

I agree! Went exploring this weekend and discovered 4 new (to me) proper single track trails only 45 mins cycling from my house! They've obviously been purposely built by local riders over the years with some nicely constructed berms, drop-offs and jumps. In fact a couple of the trails are verging on being downhill courses in places with some serious jumps (there's a 6 foot drop on one of them eek). So I fully appreciate how nice it is to find new trails close to home smile
